Mackenzie Clara Reid, more commonly known as Mac or Kenzie, is a shy sixth year Hufflepuff girl who isn't always sure of herself. She is on the Quidditch Team as a Chaser, but she's not their best player. This isn't because of her shyness, because she is surprisingly confident on the field. She attributes that to the fact that she considers her team mates as friends. Instead, she's not the best because she isn't very competitive. She just likes to play. She's pretty friendly, and doesn't always stick up for herself. She has a hard time making friends because she's shy, but once she has them she's a quirky sort of girl who likes to have some good clean fun. She will have friends, just random people she'll know, and probably quite a few people who will make fun of her. As for lovers, she's a lesbian so guys might have crushes on her but she's all about the ladies.

Xavier Axel Merit is a seventh year Ravenclaw who is only sixteen due to the fact that he skipped his second year at Hogwarts. Basically he completed his first and second year at the same time. Since the professors were reluctant to move him forward any further he added muggle class work to his routine and now officially has a high school diploma as well. He is more logical than anything else and is unable to sense simple things like sarcasm and the emotions of others unless he has dealt with them frequently. And even then he's only guessing. He isn't in to social settings and would prefer to stay in his dorm and read a comic book than go out to parties. But he will cave in on rare occasions if he feels he might lose someone he considers a friend. Of course, friends to him are usually based on what is beneficial to each party, but there will be the few people that he hangs around with just because they put up with him. Mostly he'll have a lot of enemies or people who don't understand him (and don't want to). He won't have many romantic interests. At least not right away. He hasn't had a girlfriend (though if he had to date someone he would want that particular gender) and that suits him just fine. He assumes that when he marries someone it will be for the sole purpose of creating an evolved being, like himself.

Twenty-four-year-old Jason William Wilde is the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts. When he was a student he was in Gryffindor house. After Hogwarts he became an Auror. He stuck with that until he was twenty-three at which point he applied for the DADA position and was hired. He is the only person so far to be able to hold the position for more than one year since the curse that was put on it by Voldemort. He is very good at his job but assigns as little homework as possible because he doesn't like grading. Most of his classes are hands-on. He enjoys travelling and does it as much as possible. He is mostly a relaxed sort of person and tries to keep his conversations casual. He has a younger brother and sister and is pretty family oriented though he hasn't started one of his own yet.
